How Not to Spend Your Vacation

Or why I don’t participate in NaNoWriMo. Well, okay, not really. I don’t participate in NaNoWriMo because I spend most of November either on vacation or prepping for Thanksgiving. Since I write every day, I’m not too worried about hitting my own goals.

About my vacation: it certainly wasn’t what I had planned. I planned a vacation of food & wine & movies. Instead, I picked up a virus and spent most of my days lying in bed staring bleary-eyed at the hotel TV watching reruns. During the commercials I managed to get some writing done. Not as much I would have liked, but enough to keep me moving forward. That’s what writing is all about: always moving forward.

2 Cities, 2 Churches, and a Puppy

I have way too much to do and not enough time to do it before I leave for Southern Media Con and RWA’s Annual Conference. You can still follow my adventures on Twitter and Facebook. Until I return, here’s a few pictures from my trip to Iceland and Norway. Enjoy!
